Product Description
Available in slightly whitish or white powder form, Calcium Acetate is reckoned for its hygroscopic properties. Also referred as calcium diacetate and calcium ethanoate, this substance is easily dissolvable in water. It is slightly soluble in ethanol. 5% solution of Calcium Acetate has 7.2 to 8.2 ph range. It contains elements like sodium, potassium, strontium, heavy metal, magnesium, barium and other substances in minimal amount. It has up to 7% water content. In food industry, it is used as effective mold suppressing stabilizer. It is also used as chemical reagent in other industries. Standard storage life and precise formulation are its key features.
